We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or move an appointment, tell us at least 24 hours before your booked time.
Missed appointments and late cancellations
A charge of 50% or more of the appointment fee applies to missed appointments. The current policy wording is on our Pricing page. Insurance plans generally do not reimburse missed-appointment charges.
How to cancel or reschedule
- Call 613-742-1230 during clinic hours
- Leave a message with your name, your practitioner and your appointment time if the front desk is busy
- Tell us whether you want to rebook, so we can find you the next suitable time
Why we ask for notice
Each appointment is time set aside for one person. With a day’s notice we can offer the spot to someone who is waiting for care. Without it, the time usually goes unused.
If you are running late
Call us as soon as you know. Your practitioner will see you for the time that is left in your booking, so the next person is not kept waiting.
If you are sick or hurt
Please do not come in with a fever or a contagious illness. Call us as early as you can and we will work with you on a new time. If your pain has become much worse, you have new numbness or weakness, or you have had a fall or a blow to the head, tell us when you call, and see a doctor or go to emergency if symptoms are severe.
