Personal training is a one-to-one or small-group program built around your own health, fitness and lifestyle goals. Sports performance training is for athletes: it develops the speed, power, agility and strength their sport demands.
Both are run by our trainers, who work alongside our health care providers so training and treatment stay connected.
Personal training
- Who it is for: people at any fitness level, including people returning to exercise after an injury
- How it starts: a lifestyle assessment (sleep, stress, diet) and a physical screening of joint range of motion, movement and aerobic capacity
- How it is planned: block periodization, meaning the right amount of training at the right time, not random hard workouts
- How it is adjusted: recovery monitoring, including HRV and stress tracking, to manage your workload
- Formats: one-on-one, semi-private and small groups
Sports performance training
- Who it is for: athletes who want to perform better in their sport
- Acceleration mechanics: better starts and separation in the first few steps
- Change of direction: moving smoothly forwards, backwards and laterally
- Explosive and reactive training: jump training to produce and reuse force
- General strength: squats, hinges, single-leg work, pushing, pulling and anti-rotation exercises, with a full-body lift in each session

If you have an injury
Tell your trainer. Because our trainers and therapists communicate, your program can be adapted while you are treated. Read can I keep training while I am injured? If you have a heart condition or have been told to limit exercise, check with your doctor before starting.
Rates are on our Pricing page. More detail is on the personal training and sports performance training pages.
