We offer several group programs aimed at restoring functionality, improving mobility, or simply giving back to our community!

Personal Training

Human beings were designed to move well & move often. At PST, our personal training goes far beyond the standard confines of typical training plans. Following an integrated approach that encompasses both therapist and trainer, we deliver results by employing a variety of measures:

 

 

  • Lifestyle Assessment  Every new client is given a full lifestyle assessment to ensure that what they do out of the gym compliments what we do inside of the gym (sleep & stress tracking, dietary analysis, HRV monitoring etc.)
  • Physical Screening – Every new client receives an in-depth physical assessment that includes; joint range-of-motion screening, movement assessments, aerobic/anaerobic capacity testing and more. 
  • Block Periodization – No more crazy workouts for the sake of the ‘wow’ factor. All clients receive the right dosage of training at the right time in order to ensure maximum progress on an ongoing basis.
  • Recovery Monitoring – Through a measure of HRV and stress tracking, we manage client workloads to ensure that they train to capacity based on the capacity they have to train. 
  • Athlete Management – All clients are managed by their trainer to ensure that they receive treatment when needed in order to mitigate injuries and maximize their training effect. Our trainers communicate with our health care providers on a daily basis to ensure continuity of care is maintained. No more waiting for injuries to happen!

Kinstretch

TAKING MOVEMENT TO THE NEXT LEVEL!

 

Kinstretch is a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and usable ranges of motion. It entails a self-assessment system that allows you to monitor your own body for dysfunction that may be causing pain, loss of performance, or that may be putting you at an increased chance of injury.

Kinstretch is currently used by top teams in the NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS, and NCAA.

Kinstretch

Ninja Training Classes

Our Ninja Training is a movement camp designed to teach young athletes about physical literacy, mobility, agility and to build a solid but broad foundation for sports performance. Above all else, the focus is on having FUN while being active!

Camp is run like an agility course with different objectives each week that will teach kids about teamwork and cooperation to complete the task required with their teammates (either by completing a set number of repetitions, beating the clock, collecting the most bean bags, etc).

At PST, we don’t believe kids should specialize in any one sport at a young age. We believe kids should try several sports and activities, or even just run around and play! Over-training or specializing too early can lead to repetitive strain, overuse injuries, or mental burnout.  We aim to teach our young athletes how to move and control their bodies. The result is creating better all-around athletes!
